Some years ago I wondered whether there was a year 0 and concluded there 
wasn't by finding some historical statement like:

   "King Cretin assumed the throne in 2 BC and was deposed by his 
half-brother exactly 2 years later in 1 AD."

,,,but I don't remember where I saw it.
