I simply took (while we had the use of the PL/I compiler in a beta-test version of V3R2) the PL/I front-end out of the old API manual, and reworked it to make its behavior as close as possible to that of the IBM OPM RPG compiler. With the exception that it doesn't spool joblogs; as far as I'm concerned, a compilation (failed or successful) without a joblog is like a fish without an SUV. -- James H. H.
