Intercept a DMCEPT call from an ILE program? I don't think I've ever
done anything remotely like that. Suggestions on how to accomplish that
would be appreciated.

Meanwhile, I've come up with an idea for an experiment that might work:
I've made the "options list" parameter to the call debugger-accessible
by removing the period from the name, and I'm going to try poking a few
values into it, based on one of Leif Svalgaard's tutorials,
http://www.leif.org/as400/handout.pdf
Once I manage to get it onto our V6 box (I was out of it for a while, to
avoid interfering with finally getting our 5761WDS feature 5103 license
problem fixed -- with a day to spare).
