BINGIE!! I poked an 01 into the option list, for the READ (.DMCGET), rather than the SETLL (.DMCGETD), and it went right to the first record. Now, I just need to make it practical. Piece of cake, compared to finding the needle when I wasn't entirely sure where the haystack was.
