   The /object checker/ is a /common function/ [#CFOBJCK] which is 
somewhat generic across object types.  The most typical function is 
object validation for the first /touch/ after an IPL.  Perhaps 
adjust the IPL count for the object in addition to that value, to 
see what difference can be detected.
