Security Level 50 differences between built-in wrapped and non-wrapped MI instructions?

In searching via the web and the IBM i Information Center, I cannot find 
out if the system limits access to built-in wrapped MI instructions the 
way it treats direct access to MI instructions at security level 50.

Some System Interface functions are simply macros wrapping built-in 
wrapped MI instructions. At least one or two _Rxxx functions appear to 
be implemented the same way. These work fine at security level 50 and no 
exception are thrown.

Is it safe to use all of the built-in wrapped instruction at security 
level 50? Will they be blocked without a special IBM macro wrapper?

Although this is a general question, I am specifically interested in the 
MODINVAU built-in.
