At this point, I'm trying to find out a way to determine how long the 
splash screen has been up (once the program gets to the earliest 
possible point for dismissing it), and I'm drawing a very large blank on 
measuring a time interval in MI, without having to call QWCCVTDT twice 
(which seems like an expensive way to do it).
