The silly thing is that they think it will work. How long do you 
suppose it will 'clever' people to work around whatever restriction IBM 
puts in place?

I can't even find the Beyond Technology stuff archived anywhere. Anyone 
recall the URL of a site that had the purpose of archiving everything 
on the net?

I'm inclined to agree. I've said as much in previous posts (e.g., 
http://archive.midrange.com/mi400/200106/msg00016.html). It's very sad 
but all related to chasing services dollars and taking the easy path of 
selling the customer what the customer seems to want rather than doing 
the extra work to sell the customer what they need.
