Most people want to do this for two purposes.
1) To find out which libraries are taking up the most space.
2) To delete those objects that haven't been used in XX timeframe.

DSPOBJD and adding up the object sizes doesn't give you a true
representation of the library size.

The API QLIRLIBD returns the size of the library and the object count.
Also, the GetLibSize() procedure in RPG xTools returns that same
information.

If you're dealing with general objects...doesn't dspobjd to a outfile give
you this? I'm at my kids school having
to deal with some linux and windows issues and don't have a 400 in front of
me, but I've used that and dspfd before for this kinda data...

Linux is such a pain in the ass piece of crap...
