Presentation on the ABC interpreter and its applications

Dear Clean friends,

On August 16, 14:00-14:45 in HG01.060, I will give the final
presentation of my master thesis titled "Lazy Interworking of Compiled
and Interpreted Code for Sandboxing and Distributed Systems" and
supervised by Rinus Plasmeijer and John van Groningen.

The talk gives an overview of the implementation of an interpreter for
the intermediate language ABC
(https://gitlab.science.ru.nl/clean-and-itasks/abc-interpreter), how it
is used to achieve cross-platform
evaluation-orthogonal serialization and sandboxing in Clean, and its
application in the frontend of the iTasks framework to interact with
JavaScript and the DOM.

The presentation is open to all. A preliminary version of the thesis is
available upon request.
