He should be especially notable to THIS group for having written "The
Forth Shall Be First", a paper exploring how Forth (ahem, a
concatenative language) implemented a cutting-edge theoretical concept
long before that concept became known.

An interesting read, and applicable to almost all concatenative
languages (more so to the functional ones).
