To be fair, most of those claims predate the addition of input to Joy,
which happened when I reworked Joy0 into Joy1, the current version
with the file I/O, random numbers, clock time, and command-line args.
Before that, the only I/O function was ".", which outputs the top of
stack; by itself, that doesn't make Joy0 not purely functional.
