I have dabbled with Euphoria as well, and if it hadn't been for various "flakiness" with the language (on MacOS X Leopard), as well as within the community, I might still be using it. ;) The Joy language might be cool if there are still folks around that can help with the learning curve. I tried to give Forth a go, but the c.l.f. newsgroup is nothing more than an ever-ending argument, and pissing contest. Hans Beezemer's 4TH language should have been my first exposure to "Forth". -- Duke
