I have created a COM server which is being used by my client
application to do data processing etc.
The application sets up the environment panels, buttons,
scrollbars and charts and creates the main object which is
defined in the COM. What I'm trying to do is manipulate these
controls from the COM. For example, I need to continually re-plot
the chart, but I can't do that unless I have a handle on the actual
object. I would prefer to have the chart as part of the COM, but
then I can't attach it to the panel on the client side.
I feel like I must be missing something obvious, but as I'm new to
COM I don't see how I can get round this.
Any help or resources to where I can find it would be great!
