JCL can be compiled with FPC with some skill.

JVCL status is unknown. I assume the parts of JVCL that work with Kylix
_could_ be ported in theory.

Note also that afaik JCL adapted its licensing to FPC/Lazarus (LGPL/MPL
combo instead of just MPL), and JVCL didn't.

This is a problem because designtime components are statically compiled into
lazarus, which is a GPL program. It disallows distributing e.g. a Lazarus
with JVCL already installed.
