I have had such complaints as well, and probably many others here too.
I also use virus checking and a firewall. But someone with less
protection might have it in their address book, and that is where the
virus gets it, or the address may be collected from Usenet or the
public Borland servers. No reason to panic. <g>

There is no way to prevent that, even if you only use fake email
addresses everywhere except in private email conversations. If the
other is not well protected, you're prey.
