I have to work with the information that I get. And people pretending to
change platforms due to a minor alignment issue simply do not rank high on
my ladder. And even if I knew for sure you were going to be the next
Dijkstra, you would have gotten such a response.
Look, there can be a zillion reasons to adapt .NET, C#, M$, or whatever. But such
a silly detail is not one of them.
If I offended you, I'm partially sorry, because I know I can be a bit too
direct at time, but at the other side, I don't really regret it.
If you put down Delphi over such a silly issue in a Delphi group, you are
bound to get critical responses. And I did all this in good faith, otherwise
I wouldn't have bothered to do all the work for the initial helpful
explanation.

It wasn't meant personal. It was meant to debunk the silly "but now I use C#
because of this" advocacy alike remark, which IMHO was _really_ silly.
If you can't handle your advocacy for off topic development systems being
debunked, don't mention them.
