Treads with CLX, do they work?

Hi

I would like to know what success people have had using threads with 
CLX.  The reason I ask is because I just tried running the exampl 
threads program that comes with Kylix and it crashed as soon as soon 
as I pushed the button that would have started up the threading.  I 
actually compiled and ran the program with Delphi 6 on a computer 
with dual processors.  I think the program may actually run OK if 
there is only one processor but not if there are more than
