trying all sorts of stuff out :>

my first simple app was a cover print utility
which runs now on my linux, my windows & 2 other pc's of friends from where 1 is redhat 7.3 and the other win2k
it wasn't that hard

moving up to some more difficult stuff, only thing i couldn't get working on my redhat 7.2 was a connection with mysql
, the connection eventually worked, but then couldn't do too much. Think of moving to postgresql or so

Nextup is a movie manager with a own fileformat i made long time ago but never completed the app, gonna rebuild it
from scratch in linux, and it's gonna test run also on all the pc's i mentioned above :>

& if this works move up to some ideas i still have for commercial programs & off course make a linux & windows app
but not much companies use linux as workstations, servers etc ok, but workstations don't think so. But we'll see
once we get there :>
