Newbie learning Kylix/Delphi

Hi all,
I'm a bit of a newbie, and I'm getting ready to dive into Kylix (I 
have the Open Edition).

I have some older books on Delphi (stuff from v1, v2 & v3).
Are these going to be helpful with learning Kylix, or should I not 
even bother with 'em?

Do you guys think that these older books would be a good start for 
learning Delphi v6 (I have the personal edition). I also own v1 & v4.
