I have seen Walter's project. As far as I understand, ReadHeaderInfo function gives summarized information concerning to each message stored, belonging to a certain folder. It includes each message size and if  the message contains attachments BUT it is not able to report, for example, where (the location) an attachment begins. I believe that such information is stored in the message itself. That is what I am looking for.

¿Why I think that way? For example, if I get an isolated eml file  (OE Message), OE is able to put it correctly in my screen (decoding its binary files attached if they exist) even if the message does not belong to any dbx folder. If I open such eml message with a text editor I see that it contains pure text. Some paragraphs are information for the user (as From: ..., To: ...,etcetera) and other paragraphs are information for Outlook Express (as Content-Type and its parameters "text/plain", "text/html", "multipart/related", etcetera).

OE knows "where" begin to decode a binary attached encoded file. OE also show us its name and "offer" us to save it separatedly for later use. Keywords as those I mentioned above are constants.

I am investigating information that could be hidden in lines as, for example

boundary="----=_NextPart_000_0005_01C20E1C.FBB03EE0"
