Opus DirectAccess driver

Does anybody use it? I've been advised to change from ADO to this driver
because of problems Win98 users might have with ADO yet when reading through
their website (www.opus.ch) all they seem to say is that it's a replacement
for BDE, which I've never used anyway, and that it uses DAO for Jet, which I
thought was the predecessor of ADO.

Any thoughts?
