yeah ... you are right ... the problem is that there is no password ...
when you create a database in Access you can either make a user and a password or simply ignore that (no password) ...
my database has no password ... it is opened directly with ADO.

the problem is that the BDE TTable and TDatabase is alwayes asking for a user name and a password ... I cant give him any coz I simply dont have any :)

I think that just like on Interbase there is a default user (sysdba) and a default password for that user (masterkey) ... but I just dont know them for Access tables ...

still waiting for any hint :)
