Hang on close form

Hi all
 
We have a rather obscure problem here in one of our projects. There is one
particular form that is hanging Delphi at design time when you attempt to
close the form in the IDE. This form is rather large and does host quite a
number of components. At first we though it may be one of the components
that are causing Delphi to hang so we removed the components one at a time
and tested the form with no problems. No-one on the dev team seems to be
able to find the source of this hanging.
 
BTW: This does not always happen. Sometimes we can close it fine but most of
the time it will cause Delphi to lock up.
 
Have any of you heard of a problem like this that occurs only at design
time? Any ideas on solving this would be greatly appreciated.
 
We are all using Delphi 7 Ent on WinXP.
