Greetings, Don't want to intrude on the thread but i've had a similar situation but not quite the same. I had a Master and slave that i wanted to put the data on a form with a form bitmap. I could not get a banded report to work as i wanted. I worked around this by creating another datafile with each record filled with the data from the master(one record) and slave(many records). It's not a pretty solution but it did work. Is this a possible solution for your case? Actually no... Banded report generators are built like layer cakes... on the base detail band as opposed to printing from the top down. Because there is only one detail band, you can't print two detail report sections...:-( I too have been puzzling about this and this is the conclusion that I have come to. I can't seem to even come up with a work around. You may be able to do this with a nonbanded report writer such as: YAPI (Yet Another Printing Interface) http://www.geocities.com/yapisoftware/ The basic version is free. Hopefully it will do what you want it to. Good Luck ===== Tom Nesler Live Long...Code Well... and Prosper! V __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
