I seem to be having trouble accessing the Topaz For Delphi Forum. ( Server Not Found coming up a lot. But I'm in now. ) I have an MS Excel spreadsheet which I have exported/saved as a "Comma Delimited file" CSV which seemed to work ok. I then used the TOPAZ routine AppendFromDelimited to import it to a dbf file. Again it worked but....two of the fields lost their first characters. They are in the CSV file but the TOPAZ function seems to have dropped them for some reason. Is there a bug in the routine that I am not aware of. I'm using Topaz v7.5 with Delphi v5 Sample of CSV file below....... Format is Membership Number, Firstname, lastname, result, venue, instructor 100,Fiona,Hoy,under 8 newcomer,1st,Mellon Omagh,Rosita Shekleton 101,Sarah,Kelly,under 8 newcomer,2nd,Mellon Omagh,Rosita Shekleton 102,Sean Og,Irwin,under 8 newcomer,3rd,Mellon Omagh,Rosita Shekleton 103,Kathleen,Clerkin,under 8 newcomer,4th,Mellon Omagh,Rosita Shekleton The first character of FirstName and the first character of VENUE get dropped on every record.
