Posted this earlier but forgot the subject. Any way...I believe I have found a bug id The TOPAZ AppendFromDelimited function. If the CSV file has a blank field then the next field to be imported after that field loses the first character. Look at the second & third lines of the sample below. They each have two blank fields and the field immediately after those blank fields loses it's first character. Sample of CSV file below....... Format is Membership Number, Firstname, lastname, result, venue, instructor 100,Fiona,Hoy,under 8 newcomer,1st,Mellon Omagh,Rosita Shekleton ,Sarah,Kelly,under 8 newcomer,,Mellon Omagh,Rosita Shekleton ,Sean Og,Irwin,under 8 newcomer,,Mellon Omagh,Rosita Shekleton 103,Kathleen,Clerkin,under 8 newcomer,4th,Mellon Omagh,Rosita Shekleton The first character of FirstName and the first character of VENUE get dropped on every record if the field preceding it is blank.
