TZF - .DBT Files

Recently, I had a problem with a memo file (DBT).

With Marie's help from the dbf structure information
she provided us, and by "snooping" around with a
hex editor, I understand a lot more about DBT files.

DBT files are "ever increasing in size". Data orphans
(text fields) are frequently created and never "cleaned up".
If you have a memo field with 5000 bytes in it and you
edit it by adding a comma, then you will create another
5000 byte area in the DBT file and the original one will
be there forever (as an orphan).

Is there a utility which will "pack" a DBT file of all the
worthless junk that builds up. I am using Delphi 6
and the latest version of TopazD (8 I think it is).

Thanks for any help,
