TZF - ERROR: Access Violation in module 'vcl60.bpl'

When doing a    File | Open  on a file I have been doing development on
for a week ... today I got the following two Error Messages.  Anyone have
any ideas??   (Delphi 6)

Error Dialog #1 
Access violation at address 007DB55C in module 'vcl60.bpl'. Read of address 
00000178.

Eror Dialog #2
Error reading EditWindow.Icon.Date:  The window does not have scroll bars.
