I am using topaz v8.04 with Delphi 5.  The application is running on a 
server, and there are no data access controls (no visual interface).  
When I place long text into a memo field, more than a couple of 
paragraphs, the data gets altered with extra line feeds, garbage 
characters, and sometimes the end of the memo get cut off.  If I save 
the stringlist to a file, the data is fine, it is just the DB memo field 
which gets messed up.  

I don't use pchar's etc.  So I don't suspect a memory problem in the 
application.

Any ideas or thoughts on this would be appreciated.

demographic and categorization questions were removed from the survey, 
and a unique ID replaced email addresses for management and duplicate 
survey elimination, which keeps all p
ersonal identification information off the internet server. 

(Sometimes, additional characters are added at the points where the 
apparent lines breaks are put in)
