Phil,

Would the richEdit not work? You could put a print button on the form
and call richEdit1.Print('').

The user can easily view the file. You can set its font to Courier New,
which will nicely keep everything aligned. You can do a copy and
paste and you can set it to readOnly:=True (property) which will
prevent editing .

I have recently found that you can make parts of the richEdit bold
or any other "normal" feature of a font (underline, italic, colors, etc).
I am not accomplished with this part yet, but I know it is possible.

On the cutting/pasting, you cannot right click it and get a menu (to my
knowledge)
but you can do a control-C to place selected text on the clipboard for
future pasting. You can select text by dragging the cursor (or
by shift-Click I would think). To my knowledge, you could not select
a specific column of information in this table you are wanting to view.

Ohhh, my "are you kidding" comment was because of your last
name - I just think that KIdder is a "cool name". It certainly was not a
"shot" at your question, nor was I making fun of your name - I just
like your name ... not enough to change my own, but I like it. :)

Thanks,
Bob
