Thanks Phil,

After I sent in this question, I did some more
experimentation with the application.  I remembered
that I had changed the structure of that particular
database ...and everything seemed to work ok when
I did it.  BUT, I remembered Delphi actiing like a real
jackass a couple of times before.  So, I deleted the
datamodule objects associated with this database
and then put new objects back in the datamodule
with the same name.  That solved it ... so, therefore
the problem was from some of that hidden information
that Delphi keeps associated with data objects.
