No. It is just a litte standalone edit routine. 

I do use dBase 5.1 to browse,  delete and pack the main data file though.

I tried older versions of the ".EXE" that also worked in the past and 
received the same results. 

Could this be the result of a corrupt index tag? Tomorrow I will try copying 
the main data file to another file and rebuilding the indextags fron scratch. 
Most of the *.DBF design is done in dBase.
