RE: TZF - Filters

Thanks Bob. I really think my problem is syntax using ('"). After a 
little juggling around the filter does compile but still doesn't filter 
correctly and even get runtime errors. I get vars from dbf1, of which 
there are 4. V1-thru v4, all strings. I then assign the vars to = fields 
in dbf2 to filter. As of now I either get runtime errors, or the filter 
is like a null or doesn't filter the records I need filtered. All the '" 
required for a four field filter is rather confusing. By the way I'm 
using Delphi 5 pro and ver8 of Topaz. I applied all fixes to topaz not 
long ago so should be current :-)
Again thanks, I will fight my way through this tangled web and let you 
know what happens.
