I have six clients and I treat five of them this way and it works. I have a BAT file on their machine which will zip up all the DBF & DBT files. They run this BAT file and email me the data. I make structural and code changes and email it back. Of course they cannot make any data changes during this process. One of the six clients I actually have to visit and do this on-site as they cannot "shut down" for the required time (which is usually a day).
