Check to see if there is any crazy drive mapp= ings, especially on any workstations. Check the scheduler to see if any bac= kup routines are running occasionally. Check the date and time stamp on the= files in the root directory that may give you a clue as to when this happe= ns. Good luck! When I visit the site, I = find that there are copies of all the DBF files I open in Topaz on the C-dr= ive (ie: in C:\) even though the "real" DBF data files are stored in a fold= er C:\MyApp\Data. This "dumping / copying" of the files to C:\ seems to be= an occasional but regular event. I have checked my code, but certainly I believe I always open, for eg, "C= :\MyApp\Data\database1.dbf" and never simply "C:\database1.dbf". Any idea how this could happen ?
