Hello all, While I did want to get the new release out last week, we ended up having a lot of issues to resolve with the build on some platforms and making things release-friendly. However, I think we're now at a good state, so I've tagged the tree and done some release builds where I can: Mac OS X, Lion and later: http://opendylan.org/downloads/opendylan/2012.1/opendylan-2012.1-x86-darwin.tar.bz2 Linux (x86), should run on anything, I hope: http://opendylan.org/downloads/opendylan/2012.1/opendylan-2012.1-x86-linux.tar.bz2 Linux (x86-64), should run on anything, but needs to have a system Boehm installed: http://opendylan.org/downloads/opendylan/2012.1/opendylan-2012.1-x86_64-linux.tar.bz2 Some important notes: - I did not do any FreeBSD builds as I don't have a working FreeBSD build environment. - I haven't done a Windows build yet as I haven't really done a release build before that I'd want to distribute. I've started working on reviving my Windows build environment though. - The Mac OS X build doesn't run on Snow Leopard any longer. If this is an issue, let's discuss that and perhaps fix it for 2013.1. - There is no Mac OS X build for PowerPC any longer. If this is an issue, let's discuss that. - There hasn't been any work on FreeBSD on x86_64 in the last year (in git) and some key files aren't present. If there's no intention of supporting this, I will not list it on the downloads page going forward. If anyone has the time to try these builds out within the next 20 hours or so, that'd be great. I plan on posting a news item about the release and updating the download page in about 20-22 hours unless I hear otherwise. It would also be great if FreeBSD or Windows builds materialized before then, but if not, so be it. - Bruce _______________________________________________ hackers mailing list [email protected] https://lists.opendylan.org/mailman/listinfo/hackers
