I will look at adding an option to the sources in git to disable threads
which might let the current code run acceptably on Darwin.  Alternatively,
if you visit #dylan, we can walk you through building from Git and see how
that goes.

I've looked at doing Homebrew support before, but don't know much about
MacPorts. Do you know someone that might be willing to help out with this?
