If you can drop by #dylan on Freenode IRC to talk about this some, that'd be great. Otherwise, you might try the 2011.1 release: http://opendylan.org/downloads/opendylan/2011.1/opendylan-2011.1-x86-darwin.tar.bz2 I will look at adding an option to the sources in git to disable threads which might let the current code run acceptably on Darwin. Alternatively, if you visit #dylan, we can walk you through building from Git and see how that goes. I've looked at doing Homebrew support before, but don't know much about MacPorts.
