Hello all,
I've been putting together a list of open tasks or things that could use
some assistance:
http://github.com/dylan-lang/opendylan/wiki
I'm slowly fleshing it out with increasing amounts of detail as I have the
time.
Many things on those lists could have meaningful contributions with small
amounts of time on a steady basis. (Even 2 hours/week would be useful!)
I'm more than happy to help people figure things out, lay groundwork, write
more detail, document things better (like some of my recent additions to
the Hacker's Guide) or to do whatever it takes to help people contribute
productively.
Even if you yourself do not have the time, perhaps you know a college
student who finds programming languages or other aspects of programming
interesting?
There are plenty of things to do for those who don't know Dylan as well,
including work in JavaScript, Python, Emacs Lisp, Vim scripting, HTML / CSS
and more. (Although not all of those things are on the list in the wiki
yet!)
- Bruce
