I've never done a hackathon either, but this sounds like fun to me. I'm in Seattle, so Pacific Time. I've written a bit of Dylan code, but I'm pretty bad at it.

We could help new people come up to speed, work through some of the tasks in the wiki, or work on our own projects in Dylan. There are a ton of things that people could work on within the space of a weekend to good effect. :)

I'm in, at least for 4 hours each day.

I've never actually been involved in a hackathon.  Should we have a particular focus?  How do we handle time zones?  We're spread very thin over the globe so unless we have a lot of non-regulars I'm not sure how much of an athon it will be.

It would be great to get total beginners who just want some help getting started, as well as old timers.
