The README is just the old text from the Network Night Vision readme.

Having a slash in the name isn't going to work for GitHub or other things
(like file systems when you've cloned the repo).  And it doesn't do the
reading / writing directly, it handles parsing and assembling the data.  I
want to see terms like 'protocol' go away as well so that the wording is
more generic. That'll be part of finding a good name.
