Wiki hardware upgrade & backups

Hello E Folks,

I'm planning to upgrade the hardware running wiki.erights.org sometime
in the next couple weeks. I've got some hardware that will be a bit
faster and with more memory. The big factor is that it should be more
reliable than that cranky old Dell.

We'll also be moving to the latest OpenBSD 4.2, and more recent versions
of PHP, MySQL, Apache, and MediaWiki. And after that we can start
implementing a catchpa system and other improvements that we discussed a
while back.

The server will be changing IP address, and will live behind a ADSL
line. Of course, I'll be fully testing out the new server with the wiki
software first. After making sure everything looks fine, we can
schedule a cutover day, and change the DNS address.

I'll send out a status e-mail as the time approaches.

On a related note, I didn't see anyone else signed up to run a regular
backup of the wiki database. It is real easy to set up, and the
documentation is on the about page:

If you've got some kind of Unix system, it is easy to set up a cron job
to regularly download the database dumps.
