Hello All,

I'm working on AsyncScala project that implements E concurrency concepts in
Scala (secruity and distributed computing are out of scope for now). It
should be released in a month or two, depending on available time. Akka and
Typesafe were a motivation to resume the project, since they still have not
reached usability level for event-driven programming that was demonstrated
by E.

In meanwile, I have written Concepts page for the entire project
https://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/asyncobjects/wiki/Concepts . I would
welcome comments on the content of this secton of the web site, particularly
on "Control Flow" section. If you have any ideas on how planned control flow
constructs can be improved, please comment. Note that all these contructs
were implemented in Java, Scala, and Groovy in the context of the
AsyncObjects project. And the biggest thing that stops me from releasing
AsyncScala is a severe lack of documentation, and I'm working on it right
now. Your comments and questions could help me to improve its quality and to
focus on difficult to understand areas.

Thanks,
Constantine

PS: if someone want to take over the Groovy version of the project, I would
gladly give it to new owner and answer the questions about it, provided that
license will stay Apache or BSD. I also believe that the concepts of the
framework should be easy to implement in the context of the modern C#. And
if someone is interested, we could discuss it as well.
