New GC for Gobo -- First successful compile with new GC enabled

Hi all,

Somewhat to my surprise, gec with the new GC as the allocator and
with collection functioning has completed a successful compilation of
itself, although the same code when invoked as my IDE did crash.

So it is getting close ...
