I guess they use the command-line, gitk and git-gui.

Some links about Git (including doc, videos and testimonials) have
been posted here. This is a good start to learn git. I will also
put a mirror of the SourceForge repository on github. It will make
things easier for those who want to fork the project on github and
play with it.
