Gobo with EiffelStudio 5.4

Hi,

I'm hoping to use EPOM, which sounds easy according to its installation 
instructions:
"1. Unzip the archive.
2. Define the EPOM environment variable.
3. Create a project using EPOM :
• create a build.eant build file.
• create a system.xace file and mount EPOM library.
4. Build the project. If you need EiffelStore support, then set the 
EIFFELSTORE
environment variable to 'true' before typing geant install."

All I'm trying to do is to compile the example application that comes with 
EPOM in EiffelStudio 5.4. But EPOM depends on various Gobo libraries. I'm 
new to Gobo and I'm finding this very difficult.

I'm iteratively doing this with a new EiffelStudio project:
1. F7 to Compile.
2. Find which library contains the unknown class.
3. Add a cluster for that library via EiffelStudio's Project Settings 
dialog.

There's got to be a better way, so I've spent the better part of a day 
trying to read up on Gobo. This is not easy, because there's no clear 
overview: or if there is, it's well hidden! For example, I had no idea what 
gexace is for -- the readme.txt didn't tell me because it assumes you 
already know what gexace is for and just provides a whole lot of technical 
information that is useless to an absolute newbie -- so over a period of 
hours I managed to figure out what gexace is for by inference, piecing 
together snippets of information from various sources.

My current impression is that I should be able to type something like 'geant 
install', with appropriate environment variables set, and it will hopefully 
build an ACE file for EiffelStudio (via gexace), plus the .e files for the 
.ge files (via gepp).

Is this the way it should work? Or should I just keep manually adding 
clusters?
