I don't think you need to do this, Gilles.

Gobo 3.4 is already installed with EiffelStudio 5.6. All you need to  
do is add the relevant Gobo clusters to your Project Settings (or to  
your project's Ace file), and it's ready to use.

Gobo 3.4 definitely works with EiffelStudio 5.6. In fact, one thing  
that the Gobo guys did for 3.4 was make sure it was compatible with  
5.6. I tried compiling some Gobo 3.3 classes in 5.6: it worked, but  
there were lots of "obsolete" warnings. 3.4 generates no warnings.  
The only tricky part of 3.4 is the XML stuff, but apparently that's  
still under development.
