Set the variables:

set INCLUDE=%INCLUDE%;C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio
8\VC\PlatformSDK\Include

set LIB=%LIB%;C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\VC\lib

set PATH=%PATH%;C:\Eiffel56\studio\spec\windows\bin

and that seemed to work fine. Thanks.
