I cleared all in gobo/bin and tried again. Ultimately I got another BUILD FAILED with this message: /usr/local/Eiffel/Eiffel56/studio/spec/linux-x86/bin/x2c big_file_C5_x.x big_file_C5_x.c gcc -O3 -pipe -I/usr/local/Eiffel/Eiffel56/studio/spec/linux-x86/include -I. -c big_file_C5_x.c /usr/local/Eiffel/otherEiffel/gobo/bin/EIFGEN/F_code/C5/pr492.x: In function ‘Fcm2kkb’: /usr/local/Eiffel/otherEiffel/gobo/bin/EIFGEN/F_code/C5/pr492.x:2645: internal compiler error: Segmentation fault Please submit a full bug report, with preprocessed source if appropriate. See <URL:http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla> for instructions. The bug is not reproducible, so it is likely a hardware or OS problem. make[1]: *** [big_file_C5_x.o] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/Eiffel/otherEiffel/gobo/bin/EIFGEN/F_code/C5' make: *** [C5/Cobj5.o] Error 2 BUILD FAILED! BUILD FAILED! Different place ... similar problem. One thought occurs to me ... Can I re-start bootstrap (Like one would re-run make) and have it begin again where it quit before? If I can, I might be able to get through this by successive re-tries.
