Using precompiled base library

Hi All,

Any suggestions how I could use a precompiled base library?

I usually have this:

	<mount location="${GOBO}/library/kernel.xace"/>

That can be replaced by

  <precompiled .../>

? To what does precompiled point?

And most importantly, does this save compilation time?
